I have a theory concerning liberalism. Tell me if you agree?

I believe that liberalism and self-loathing (dislike for one self) are synonymous. Liberals love to point out past American evils but at the same time never focus on all the good we do around the world. They defend Muslim violence as if we deserved to get attacked on 911 but yet never focus on the fact we didn't start these wars.. They would rather say its over oil. As if our foreign policy is dictated by nothing other than greed...
