So 5 days late but negative HPT?

I am 5 days late today. I took a pregnancy test yesterday, it was negative. Well for about 3 days I have had very very very little spotting. I haven't needed to use anything its so light. Sometimes only a little bit of blood shows up if I wipe, sometimes i get nothing at all. Well that's gone now. Last night I started feeling twinges in my left ovary. Today it hurts a lot more then yesterday and sometimes i get some minor cramping in my right ovary now too. I never get cramps before my period so this is unusual for me. Now I had an HSG test done a month ago. Do you think I could still be pregnant even though I had a negative test? Or do you the HSG test could some how affect my period? I had bad cramping when I had it done and bled for a day after the test. I read online it shouldn't affect your period but I also heard some girls say it did. Dunno what to think!
