How do you delete songs off a CD-RW?

I'm trying to delete songs off a Memorex CD-RW on a Mac OS X so I can put a different set of songs on it. When I pull it up on the Finder there is no way to move it to the trash or delete, and when on iTunes there is also no option to delete. It is definitely re-writable. Thanks for any help.
