I have leg pain and possible Leiden V Factor, should I go to the hospital?

I've been having horrible pains in the outside of my left leg. It's a small area where the pain is localized and my leg starts to go numb. My uncle died from complications ociated with Leiden V Factor (which is a blood clotting disorder) but I've never been tested for it. Should I go to the hospital to see if its a clot or am I being dramatic?
