I need some help with some very untamed rats?

Your rats are young. They don't touch , so they have to "taste test" to see what something is (just like a baby does) Rats are nocturnal, so might have better luck trying at night time. Have you tempted them with a fresh piece of veggie? I had a rat that would occasionally nip me. If you do approach them, move slowly from the front of them. They are young, so just try to be patient.
