Rummage Sale Ettiquette.......?

According to my neighbor, it is absolutely rational and normal for his wife to sell her used, but in very good condition, underwear in their garage sale. I did not let on, but this seems insane to me. Can anyone weigh in on this one way or the other? Maybe I'm overreacting?
